What if the secret to a great partnership isn’t about finding the perfect match, but about making the other person shine?
Over a decade ago, Pim and I met as students in a training room. Recently, life came full circle. We stood in that same room, not as students, but as co-leaders teaching together.
During the course, people noticed our rhythm. They saw us finish each other's thoughts. They assumed it was because we are married and know each other so well.
But true co-leading isn't about history. It is about presence.
It happens when you stop worrying about your own voice and give 100% to the person next to you for the sake of participants' learnings. When you focus entirely on making your partner look good, the room shifts. The energy grows.

This doesn’t just apply to the stage. It applies to life. Whether you are leading a team, raising a family, or building a marriage, great partnership means holding the floor so the other person can soar.
I am deeply grateful to the Co-Active Training Institute for bringing this dream to life, and to Pim, my ultimate partner in the room and in life.
Stop trying to divide the work 50/50. Give 100% to make your partner shine. When they win, the whole room wins with them.
