Opportunity Statement:
The client's team of Individual Contributors (ICs) was primarily using a directive approach with sales teams, rather than leading with inquiry, which caused tensions amongst the team due to inalignments of OKRs. Additionally, when promoted to managerial roles, they faced challenges in effectively coaching their direct reports. The client sought a comprehensive training solution to enhance their coaching skills and enable them to apply these skills immediately in their day-to-day interactions with sales teams, while also preparing them for future leadership roles.
Our Approach:
- Discovery: We collaborated closely with the client/ the decision maker to gain a deep understanding of their existing coaching culture and identify the specific skills that would have the greatest impact on their team.
- Design: Recognizing the immediate need for immediate practical application, we adopted a tailored, experiential learning approach.
- Delivery with global inclusivity: we designed two 2-hour online workshops specifically for the APAC/EMEA and EMEA/AMER time zones.
Impact:
The Effective Coaching workshops were highly successful, achieving a 4.9 out of 5 rating for coaching skill uplift. Participants valued the tailored content, interactive format, and practical application of the learned skills, leading to positive feedback and increased confidence in their coaching abilities.
